Bow Campaign Recap
July 20, 20222022 Annual Bow Campaign
The Helping Hands Annual Bow Campaign is here!
Why bows? Bows signify the innocence of children—110 children in fact. There are 110 bows, representing a child placed in the foster care system during the month of February in Wells and Blackford County, for reasons that can include child abuse and neglect.
How does the campaign work? Bows are numbered 1-105, with 5 additional Glitter Bows. You pick a number or numbers that mean something to you, and then give that amount of money. For example, if 33 is your favorite number, and your spouse’s is 42, you pick those numbers and give a total of $75! We’ve even had children come in and pick bow number 5 and give $5! Glitter Bows are worth $500!
So why buy a bow? By participating in our Annual Bow Campaign, you partner with us financially in our fight to intervene in the cycles of child abuse and neglect. You partner with us financially in both our mission and vision to encourage self-sufficient families and stronger communities in the name of Christ!
This campaign goes throughout the month of April! Come into our office on a Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 9-5 and pick out a bow! Partner with us to intervene in the cycles of child abuse and neglect!
