The woman you ran into at the grocery store who came to Helping Hands seeking safety from an abusive situation and is feeling hopeful for the first time in a long time. The dad pumping gas next to you, who stepped through the doors of Helping Hands to find support and mentorship from a father-figure he didn't have growing up. The child that plays on the playground with your own, who decided Helping Hands is a safe place and told us about the abuse they were experiencing.
